Race key in Lara's home

While playing the game in Lara's home, quickly press R2, L2(3), R2, L2(6), R2, L2(5), R2, L2(2). If you entered the code correctly, Lara will say "Nope".

Lara's basement and race course key

Go to the Library. When Lara walks in the doorway, there are two bookcases to the right. Approach the one on the left and press Action. Then, Lara will pull a book and the fire will extinguish, allowing her to climb up the side wall inside the fireplace. After reaching the top, follow the passageways until reaching a room with two levels, with a switch on the top level. Pull the blocks in a way that a hallway leading into the attic is revealed. When Lara pulls the switch, the basement door will temporarily open. Quickly run through the attic, and down to the main hall to reach the basement. Once in the basement, walk through to the second room and look in the tank on the right side. Inside is the key to the race course. To collect it, pull the block in the other room to the center. Climbing up to the hall that leads into the tank.

Lara's museum

Activate the switch behind the diving board in Lara's pool room. Then, go to the door it opens in her main hall. Pull the switch, sprint straight across her lobby and roll into her museum. Artifacts including The Dagger of Xian are in her museum. -From: David Nield and Andrew Holland

Infinite flares

Enable the "Level skip" or "All weapons" codes. Then, press Triangle to draw Lara's guns and press L2. A flare will appear, even if none are in Lara's inventory.

Exploding Lara

Have Lara perform the following actions while playing the game. Walk one step forward, one step backward, hold walk while spinning three times in a complete circle in any direction, and jump backward.

Bonus audio

Play track two of the game disc in an audio CD player to hear music and voiceovers from the game.

Level skip

Maximum fire, police, and military (in 2D game)

Select and cancel the dispatch tool with the normal arrow cursor. Go to the status bar. Press Left, Right, Left, Right, Circle, X while keeping the cursor within the status bar area. Use of any of the dispatch tools (fire, police, military) to get the maximum number allowable, regardless of the number of stations you have.
Night (in 3D game)

To cycle between day and night, press Down, Up, Down, Up, Down, L2, R2. To return to normal, press Down(2), Up(2), Down(2), L2, R2.
Fade to black (in 3D game)

Helicopter cockpit (in 3D game)

Gold nugget trail (in 3D game)

Activate the "Helicopter cockpit" code multiple times by pressing R2, L2, R2, L2, R2, L2, R1, L1, R1, L1, R1, L1 seven times, followed by R2, L2, R2, L2, R2, L2(2), R1, L2, R1, L2, R1, L2, R1. If you entered the code correctly, a trail of golden nuggets will appear on the road. Collect these nuggets as you move around the city to increase your city fund.
Flight mode (in 3D game)

Press Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, L2, R2, Start(2). The code Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, L2, R2, X(2) may also be used. Press Start to return to normal. You can fly around the city without being limited to the roads. Flight mode controls are:

At the versus screen, press Turbo, Shoot, and Pass to change the icons on the bottom of the screen. The numbers in the following list indicate the number of times each button is pressed. After the icons have been changed, press the D-pad in the indicated direction to enable the code. If you entered the code correctly, you will see the name of the code and hear a sound. For example, to enter 1-2-3 Left, press Turbo, Shoot(2), Pass(3), Left. Note: More then one code may be activated per game.
